We left Yellowstone National Park out the west side and briefly road through Montana.
A rare landscape shot on the trip in the northwest.
A bit cold crossing the mountains into Idaho where we headed for Boise.
Once in Boise we need to replenish our cash. We visited a bank and presented our Marine
Midland checks
and were promptly declined service. It might be because we said we were brand-new lieutenants,
but after not shaving for several days and 6 days on the motorcycles we did not match the stereotype.
After three attempts we were finally able to convince a bank office to call Marine Midland and
verify we had money.
We then headed into the nearby mountains to camp out next to a large lake.
