Fall Photography Trip in North Carolina


Friday, 22 October 2010 - Lots of ground covered today including Whitewater Falls, Silver Run Falls, Lake Sequoyah, and a antique store.

Up early to start the day at Whitewater Falls.

Whitewater Falls is so pretty in the fall. We spent several hours here taking different compositions of the falls and the trees.

The entire falls. Upper Whitewater Falls is the highest waterfall east of the Rockies at 411 feet.

We then traveled to Silver Run falls headed back toward Highlands.

This little guy was hiding near the shore. Some sort of newt we thought.

Just outside Highlands at Lake Sequoyah the trees march all the way to the water.

We stopped at a small antique store for some local color. Cute little duplex bird house.
