A cute Sea Otter simply relaxes in the Seward harbor. According to Alutiiq legend the otter was created
when a man was trapped by the tides and wished to be an otter to escape certain fate. His wish
was granted and otters were created.

Humpback Whale of the type we have been seeing throughout the trip. This one was
close but did not show off much. You can see the snout of the whale just at the
surface moving right to left.

The Puffin was a very elusive bird with the only passable photo is of one flying. Their
skins were used to make parkas - it took 60 skins!! It is a cute bird and frequently
a logo in Seward.
The fjord is surrounded by mountains right to the water's edge. The weaker stone is
washed away to create these holes.
This deer was in an animal park which specialized in animal rescue. There were several
species of endangered animals and some that were recovering from car or shooting
accidents.
