McKinney Falls Sans Water

McKinney Falls Sans Water
Typically there is a stream of water pouring over the cut in the rock in the left center of the picture. No rain for over 100 days has left Onion Creek dry. There are two falls and this is the Lower Falls. The park is named for Thomas F. McKinney, who came to Texas in the early 1820s as one of Stephen F. Austin's first 300 colonists
