San Jacinto Battlefield Monument
On April 21st, General Houston led the Texan troops in an attack on the Mexican Army at San Jacinto and soundly defeated them capturing the president or Mexico and the general of their troops Santa Anna. This picture of the monument to the battle is taken from the Mexican position.
