View to the Mississippi in Vacherie, Louisiana

The quarter mile of Oak trees leads from the front door of Oak Alley Plantation to the Mississippi River. Now you cannot see the river because of the 30 foot levee but back when the plantation was built there was but a 10 foot levee and the river was visible.
