Boscobel Estate in Garrison, New York

Boscobel Estate in Garrison, New York
Originally built in Crugers, NY in 1804 by States Morris Dyckman, a British Loyalist who returned to the area after the Revolutionary War was over. When threatened by extinction in the early decades of this century, this Federal Domestic style mansion was dismantled, stored, and finally reassembled piece by piece in it's current location. The house has since been filled with a comprehensive collection of American Federal period antiques and art.
