King?s Jagiello Monument in New York City ? The equestrian monument of king Władysław II Jagiełło of Poland, holding over his head two crossed swords. The monument depicts the medieval Battle of Grunwald, where Polish knights supported by Lithuanian, Ruthenian, Czech and Tatar knights defeated the Teutonic Order which had the support of elite German, Dutch and English knights.
