Golden Rings in Chiang Rai, Thailand

The women of the Karen tribe use golden rings added one at a time each year to elongate their neck. They believe a woman is more attractive the longer the neck. This woman posed for Cal - they certainly did not mind the tourists, but it still seemed odd to be walking through their village.
