Havasu Canyon desert on top with lush oasis along the river at the bottom.
After lunch we took a hike into Carbonite Canyon where there are old mining sites and
fossils - the valley winds back to finally end at a slot canyon coming down from the top
of the canyon.

The view walking out of Carbonite Canyon into Havasu Canyon.
It was a fun hike, and we found several small fossils.
Back at Havasu Falls we walked across the pools to take some pictures from angles we had
not explored.
