This rock might have a name - I think it looks like a dog (or coyote in the desert).

After breakfast, we were off to a hogan to photograph Andrew Henry who is a Navajo silversmith. The light from the smoke hole in the roof of the hogan lit the silversmith and his tools.

Outside the hogan we were able to photograph Andrew's mother-in-law, Rita, in all her turquoise finery.

Rita is over 90 years old and still was a good model. Very patient for all the photographers.

We then moved to a park for a model session with Shyla.

Her mother, a silversmith, made the turquoise squash blossom necklace.

Shyla was joined by a hors called Rain.

The team then set up lights. We were able to use flash for several shots.

After the lights we were able to take a few more pictures of Shyla in the natural light.
