The workshop began in the afternoon where we met for a class at the hotel. We then traveled to the Lee's
Ferry area to practice with our gear before the workshop began in earnest.
Navajo Bridge is a crossing of the Colorado River just south of Lee's Ferry landing. There are two
bridges - the one on the right is the original bridge, which is now a pedestrian bridge. The vehicular bridge
is
on the left. Unfortunately they are not exactly parallel but still fun to see together.
