We arrived in San Miguel without accommodations so the first order of business was to hut a hotel room. There are several large hotels on the main plaza and several smaller ones. We opted for the Pasado Carmina - nondescript establishment after one peek inside.
This is the bougainvillea in the hotel plaza - this was where the meals were served outside. Meals inside were served where the horses were once kept - the stone trough is a planter

Obviously we enjoyed the hotel courtyard.
This is the balcony outside our room - that was all of 40 US dollars per night.
