A trip down the Colorado River from 12-19 August 2023 through the Grand Canyon during the monsoon season. Cal wanted to take the trip down the Grand Canyon and Arizona Highways Photo Workshops offered the trip. Virginia Ann was not so keen to camp out for a week, so she declined the offer to come along.

The big concern was the weight limit - 35 pounds max. This is due to weight requirements for a helicopter ride and a small plane ride back to my car. How to keep cameras safe and how to take enough equipment on this great trip?
