Early days of my Motorcycle Adventures
Honda CB750F Super Sport
My first bike was actually a Honda 360 on/off road bike (really more on than off). My dad thought it would be too small for cross country travel so he helped me buy a Honda CB750F Super Sport. This was a great bike which went to Germany with me.
Cal and Dad
Cal and my dad, Cal, dressed for the road in New York. This was taken outside West Point since motorcycles were banned on campus. We had to store the bikes in a garage off campus and sneak out to them (we could not wear jeans either!).
Idaho State Sign
After graduation, roommate John Lee and I traveled across country from New York to Seattle to San Diego and back to Ft Benning, Ga. We took a picture of each state welcome sign as we crossed America. The trip is documented in our Adventures section - Trip Across teh USA
Our Motorcycles
The motorcycles used to cross the US. On the left is the bike John Lee rode and Cal's is on the right. John rode a Yamaha 750 which had a shaft drive and was very high tech at the time.
