In Oct/Nov, Cal went on two photography workshops back to back by Action Photo Tours to Eastern California. The first in the Eastern Sierras and the second also in the Eastern Sierras but focused on Death Valley. The trip was led by professional photographer Ryan McGinty ( on Instagram ), who I met in an earlier workshop to the Grand Canyon. He was fantastic - great helping me with my compositions and fun to be with for all 12 days. There were only seven students on the trip, so lots of instruction and a great trip full of photographs.
