Cal's grandfather traveled to Africa in the 1970s and brought back pictures of the animals. Ever since then Cal has wanted to do the same. Finally Virginia Ann and Cal were able to make the trip. Cal took photographic record of the trip and Virginia Ann kept a journal. Virginia Ann's comments are in italics on the pages.
