Cal Holman! How the heck are you doing, hope all is well in Columbus, Georgia. Still here in Tampa Florida, working with HSBC, managing test and implementation resources here, NJ, and Vancouver. Family is doing good. Been almost 5 years since leaving Columbus, I do miss it. I hear Susan is back at the former Vital...glutton for punishment! Talk to you.

We enjoyed your mother's visit. The last time we enjoyed both your mother and father visiting with us.
I always received e-mails from your father and when they stopped I thought he and your mother was on another vacation trip. Myra and I were shocked to hear the dreadful news. I'm sure I'm a better person from having known your father; he was a very kind and thoughtful gentleman.

Hi Cal! It was great to talk to you today. As I told you, we all miss you tons. I am glad you are going to have some time with your mom over the next few wks. I'm sure she needs you right now. I have continued to keep your family in my prayers...I still can't comprehend everything you all must be feeling from such a tragedy.
BTW...this is my first time on this site and it's really amazing. I think you should think about doing this professionally! You are a very talented photographer. My friend Richard would love to see your photographs. He is also a fantastic photographer....he recently sent me about 20 photographs that I am having framed from his trip out west. You would appreciate them tenfold. What is amazing to me is how you both can find beauty in objects that most would pass by. It's really is a special gift...
We'll talk again soon! Enjoy your time with your family ...

I have been in touch with Ann Farmer of Ohio, a Carrington descendant, and in one of her emails she mentions your book "Holmans of Virginia" and that you have ancestors in St. John's churchyard. I am a volunteer for the Parish and the Patrick Henry Committee (am a parishioner and live behind the church on Grace)...and am doing "Churchyard Personalities" for the Cemetery Conservation Project...these are published in parish newsletter...Purpose: to encourage interest in cemetery. I would appreciate it if you would give me the names of your ancestors in St. John's and permission to put in Parish newsletter if I come up with a short essay. Can run it by you first. Thanks. Kudos for the pix and journaling!
I googled The Cadet Chapel at West Point after not finding what I want on the USMA site. Up comes your album with the exact picture I had in mind! I need it for a Fathers Day project.
My Dad was an 06 non grad, DH is '58 and sons are '90 (identical twins) and still on active duty.
I see you have been out way and yes, the tile floors at the Cit-del, as we say, are fancier but nothing beats West Point.
Thanks for the help!!!

Hi Cal and VA, Hope everything is going well.
I was just looking at the site - which looks great, by the way, but I did find a small defect. Don't worry, its a low - real low - just content - but I had to let you know - that's just my nature.
Home page content:
So we now have three web sites running from the house. Virginia Ann has performing great as the network operations staff while Cal travels about.
-- "Virginia Ann has performing great..."
doesn't sound right - I think you're missing 'it' or 'been' maybe.
Hope you're both enjoying the chocolate - is there any left?

Just checking out your CB750F Super Sport. I have a 78 model which I've owned since 1986, bought it from my boss in Houston. Unfortunately I rode it only on a limited basis and it's been in storage for the last six years. The bike only has 8500 actual miles on it. Over the past several weeks I've rebuilt the carbs, brakes etc and I'm ready to fire it up this weekend (fingers crossed). Love this little rocket. What have you done with yours?

Hey Cal.....looked at some updated pixs on your site and enjoyed looking at them. I know Susan sent you a card for you birthday but happy belated one from me as well as it looks like you had a good one. I love the cake so whoever picked that one out they did a good job. I told Susan we'll have to get Ms. Barbara to baby sit here soon so we can go out with ya'll and catch up on 'ol times.
Take care

Hi guys,
It is both nice and worrisome to see that Toby and Abigail rank 4th on the most popular pics hit list!
All is well at this end. We'e watching the Bucs stomp on the Eagles. It is early in the game. Nancy is still calm.

I guess since we never see you all in person, we can just check on the web-site. Hope you are doing well and we will check back often. - Kristi

Nicely done. I've seen several of the paintings you shot as prints and such, but it was surreal to see them through your eyes. Knowing that you were actually standing in front of the original Mona Lisa -- wow.

Thanks for keeping us updated Cal -- we never get to see you both enough or spend as much time with ya'll as we'd like to -- it's hard to believe that New Year's eve 2000 was almost two years ago -- I can still taste the tomatillas from Arizona (and the caviar wasn't bad either!) Hope you don't mind me sharing the site with my sister and brother inlaw -- who are another biking couple! love you guys!

I found your site based on a struts-users email asking you for your bread-crum jsp. I also interested in that but I found your site very entertaining and informative. The timing of finding it was timely since I have just installed a wireless net work (4 computers including the server which is windows 2000) in my home. I was very interested in all the information you gave in the about page.
Thanks
Jack
